A little math.
Less personal data.
This website introduces an app that is still in development. Here’s what the website does today, and the privacy design we’re building into the app.
This website
You can browse the site and download sample worksheets without an account or email address. We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, cookies, or signup forms.
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect it. That means browsing is not anonymous to the hosting provider. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.
If you contact us
Email is optional. If you email Vincent Toms, your email address and message are received through the email service and used to reply. Please don’t send children’s names, birthdays, school details, worksheet photos, or other sensitive information.
The app’s privacy design
Daily Problem Set is being built without child accounts, names, birthdays, school identifiers, advertising IDs, or analytics SDKs. Choosing a topic and difficulty does not require a personal profile.
Scans, recognized handwriting, and learner answers are processed on the device and kept in memory for the current session. They are not sent to the problem-generation backend or an AI provider. Exported PDFs are readable files under your control.
The latest generated worksheet can be kept encrypted on the device for up to 30 days so a printed page can be checked later. It includes generated questions and answer keys, not learner responses. It is excluded from app cloud sync and device backups.
Private progress
Progress summaries contain a random record identifier, day, skill, difficulty, and counts. Local history is encrypted and limited to two years or 5,000 summaries. Optional sync encrypts progress on the device before sending it to the server. The server does not receive the encryption key.
A recovery code contains the material needed to decrypt your progress. Keep it private. We cannot reset a lost encryption key or recover the data without it.
The server can still see request timing, IP addresses, random vault identifiers, encrypted data sizes, and generic generation requests. Encryption protects the contents of synced progress; it does not remove all metadata.
Retention and deletion
Synced vaults expire 180 days after their last successful write. Deleting a cloud vault removes its live database row. Encrypted copies may remain in backups or storage snapshots for their retention periods. Application-created backups are retained for seven days when the backup task runs.
Still in development
This describes the current prototype, not a claim of independently audited security or completed child-privacy compliance. We’ll review and update this notice before a public app launch.
